What better place to spend a fall afternoon, the pumpkin patch. Well, really it’s a buffalo farm, the Readington River Buffalo Farm in Flemington, but they had a fun tractor ride to a small pumpkin patch where the kids could pick out their own pumpkins and we stocked up on some buffalo meat. We met up with our friends who also frequent the farm to stock up on meat – they have tons of different cuts and the pre-packaged hamburger patties are the best
Ryan and Andy’s son is in Aiden & Roman’s class at daycare…actually, their baby girl is now classmates with Lucas as she just started school last week. Such a gorgeous day out, a bit bright for photos but I think we got a few keepers in the bunch. These boys together are pretty hilarious, they have full conversations with each other, pointing this out, and following each other around…so entertaining.
Getting excited for their tractor ride:
Scott and Lucas (side note- I realized as soon as we arrived at the farm that all the men of the family were wearing stripes, apparently I need to expand my shopping to other patterns)
Ryan and her little ones:
“Look Aiyen! Buffalo!”
“WOW!”
Said Buffalo:
Roman is so pleased with his choice of pumpkin:
Family photo fail…toddlers want nothing to do with it:
And this is how you pose for a family photo…envious of the cooperative tiny humans:
Lucas is not feeling the staging here:
The big boys:
A&J deep in discussion over their pumpkin selections:
Sweet, sweet baby J
Such a fun day, the boys had a blast…although, Roman was afraid of the tractor ride and wanted to get down asap- he totally denies this though (typical guy, heh), at dinner tonight, Aiden was saying, “Moman scared of tractor” Roman: “No, I like tractor Mommy!” We’ll see how he does next weekend when we attend a birthday party at another pumpkin farm…these boys are pumpkin picking machines.
